At first, I was a bit skeptical to place the fate of having a perfect dress in the hands of an on-line store. I must admit that I was a bit surprised when I received my gown!! Not only digit look identical to the picture displayed, but it needed very little alteration. Even my tailor was amazed by the beauty and quality of the gown. With my destination wedding being just 3 weeks away, I am assured that I am going to look fabulous on my big day!!

This is a beautiful dress. Very well made. I was really nervous ordering online, and I had read some adverse reviews, but I decided to try it and I'm really glad I did. I normally wear a 12, sometimes a 14, but the sizing chart indicated that I should order a 16, so I did, and it fits perfectly. Take your measurements carefully, because they follow them exactly. This is a second wedding, and I wanted an ivory or champagne color. The champagne color was way too dark and the ivory looks no different from white. My dress is ivory. The only point that I would make is that unless you are a very small size (maybe 8 or under), the very stiff under slip which is made to make the dress stand out, will make you look much larger. I had read this in one of the reviews and I agree. I cut out the stiff under slip easily and quickly, and it looked much more slimming without any damage to the dress. If you are a size 12 or larger, consider ordering without the stiff under slip. High quality dress for a very reasonable price!!

I wore this dress to a formal political fundraiser event this past weekend. For those reading this review, please know that I'm transgendered -- and with that in mind, know that I spent the bulk of my evening explaining to the other women in attendance where I had purchased this BEAUTIFUL gown! Seriously...I must've answered that question nearly 30 times. This dress fits me perfectly...and I ordered a standard size 18W, not custom measurements. The craftsmanship of the dress is awe-inspiring...really. I honestly would have expected to pay nearly 3-5 times what this site offered this dress for, had I purchased it in a retail formal dress shop. By the way...this site delivered this dress to me in only 12 days from my initial order date, and it was packaged in a way so that the dress was protected from becoming wrinkled; I really appreciated that, given the dress' construction which includes a LOT of tulle.

Again...I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this dress, and the wonderful comments my wearing it generated.

I was actually surprised by the quality of dress. It's pretty good. The dress looks exactly as it is shown in the picture. Very beautiful. The length is a bit longer than I expected so I probably have to tailor it but overall this dress is awesome.
